Chrissie and family would like to sincerely thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind expressions of sympathy extended to them by way of cards, messages, flowers and calls following the sad loss of Wuldie, a loving husband, dad, grandad and brother. Special thanks to the staff at Dr Gray’s Hospital for their care and to John Ross Funeral Services for their professionalism and compassion throughout. Thanks to Eduard Enslin for his comforting service and Spud the Piper for his musical contribution. A sum of £440 was generously donated to the RNIB.

Ivor and family would like to thank all relatives, friends, and neighbours for the cards and messages of support following the sudden passing of Ada.  Many thanks to Chris Clasper for her wonderful service, to Sandy Macdonell the piper, and to John Ross Funeral Services for their kind and efficient service.  Thank you to all who attended the services and for their generous donations. A total of £352 was raised for Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland and Cats Protection.

The Russell family would like to thank all who attended Edith’s funeral and for the many cards, letters and acts of kindness extended to them.  The day was a fitting farewell in so many ways.  Grateful thanks to Rev. Mary Ellen Thomson, John Ross Funeral Services and The Balavil Hotel.  The retiring collection raised £1000 for St Brides Church and Badenoch Shinty Memories.

Marcus, Sharon, Lochlan, Arron, Brodie, Caroline and Graeme would like to thank everyone for the messages of support, cards, attending Jannie’s funeral and kind donations. A total of £882.06 was raised for Highland Hospice.  Many thanks to Reverend Charles Finnie and John Mackintosh the piper.  A special thank you to Susan and the staff at John Ross Funeral Services for their kind and compassionate service.

Irene and Doreen wish to thank all friends and family for their support, messages, cards, flowers and generous donations to Alzheimer Scotland.  Many thanks to Rev. Graham Atkinson, Baldarroch Crematorium and to Nikki and her team at John Ross Funeral Services for their part in ensuring that the Celebration of Anne’s Life was the special event we had hoped it would be. A special thankyou to Jay for her lovely poetry reading and to Neil for the outstanding Eulogy he wrote and delivered so well on the day.  A great tribute to their very special grandmother.  Thanks also goes to all at Lynemore Care Home, not only for their care and compassion during Anne’s three years there, but also for supporting us so well, enabling us to spend so much quality time with our mum during the last few weeks of her life.

Shona and family wish to thank all friends and family for their support, messages, cards and flowers on the recent sad passing of Ewan.  Many thanks to Rev Mary Duncanson for her fitting service and Nikki of John Ross Funeral Services for her care and attention to detail.  Thanks to those who attended the funeral and for the generous donations to charity.  Much missed – a good life well lived. 

The family of the late Neil John Frederick Bremner would like to thank all family and friends for their kind words, lovely cards and flowers.  Also, the Rev. Julia, Heidi and Andy, Evril and Fraser, grandchildren and great-grandchildren would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all the people who sent flowers, cards, left food on doorsteps and offered to help, following the accident in which Frank passed away and in which Julia was hurt.  Special thanks must go to Grantown medical practice and G.P Dr. Winch, to the amazing passers-by who came to their aid and the exceptional kindness of the ambulance and fire crews; to Graham Atkinson for his very special service, Penny for her music, Tim Walker for a promise kept, Allan for playing the pipes so well, and to Alan and Sharon for Frank’s last Land Rover journey. Nikki Ross and company were superbly professional, and the collection raised for the emergency services totalled £1780.65.

Heather, Stevie and families of the late Jim, of 31 Munro Place, Aviemore wish to thank relative’s friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy. Thanks to Rev Graham Atkinson for a fitting and uplifting service, the organist, Annie’s Flowers, Nikki Ross and her team for their care and professional arrangements, Carrbridge Hotel for refreshments and finally to all who paid their last respects and kindly donated to the staff of Ward 3a Raigmore Hospital in appreciation for the care and understanding Jim received as their impatient patient.

Neil Gordon & Lynn Turnbull would like to thank everyone who took the time to pay their last respects at Hamish’s funeral. Special thanks to all the staff at Grandview Care Home who made Hamish’s last years so happy & comfortable. Ewan, Lindsay, Louise and Penny, would like to thank all who took the time out to pay their respects to Mum, Audrey MacKenzie in the Peregrine Suite of the MacDonald Aviemore Resort. We would also like to highlight the support we received from the team at John Ross Funeral Services, in particular Susan and Fraser who were always available and remained with us for the entire day, Lesley Simpson, the celebrant, who lead the intimate family ceremony so well, and the Lambie’s of the Speyside Centre for their ‘highland’ floral displays. The collective was a fitting way to celebrate an extraordinary life of service to the community of Aviemore. The kind donations will be valued by the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team – Thank you all.

The family of the late Kenny Dickson would like to express their sincere thanks to all relatives and friends for their expressions of sympathy, cards and flowers following their sad loss.  Special thanks to Nikki and the team at John Ross Funeral Services for their patience and caring guidance during a very difficult time.  Thanks also to Reverend Charles Finnie for a touching service, Flowers by Annie for the beautiful flower arrangement and to the staff at the Balavoulin Hotel for their hospitality following the service.  We are humbled by the generosity of the donations made to Cancer Research UK, in Kenny’s name, which totalled the sum of £1163.02.

The McInnes family would like to thank everyone who sent beautiful flowers, cards with such lovely words and for the many phone calls received after Neil died. All brought comfort at such a sad time. Alex, Maree, Andrew and their families would like to thank all family and friends for the support they received following the very sad loss of their Mum, Lorna.  Special thanks go to Rev. Charles Finnie, to Craig for delivering the eulogy and to John Ross Funeral Services, especially Susan for all her kind support and guidance.  Thanks also to Jonathan and staff at the boathouse for a lovely spread.  Thanks to Donnie Ross for piping and finally, to all who attended the church and graveside and for the generous donations to Maggie’s Highlands, which totalled £850.

The family of Mrs Joan Redfern would like to thank the staff of Grandview, one and all, for making it mum’s home for the past twelve years.  She was happy and contented.  We would also like to thank the doctors, nurses and receptionists of Grantown Health Centre, John Ross Funeral Services for their kindness, respect and professionalism and Venerable Richard Gillings for the graveside service and blessing.  My thanks for the cards and kind words of condolence.  Graham xx 

Stuart, Kevin, Don and families would like to thank all family and friends for the overwhelming support they received following the very sad loss of Norma. We are truly grateful for all the food, baking, flowers, messages and cards we received. A special thanks to Rev. Mary Duncanson for the uplifting service and fitting tribute to Norma. To John Ross Funeral Services, especially Nikki for all her kind support and guidance. The Grant Arms for the lovely spread. The wife of the late Fraser Grant would like to express her gratitude to all who have helped during an extremely sad time.  Thank you for all the flowers, cards and visitors   To the Speybridge and Tomintoul Road communities for their succour and sustenance. To the staff at the local pharmacy, the community and district nurses, and the Macmillan nurses. You all made life a bit more bearable!  And to Fraser’s final visitor Jeanie, who gave my dearest husband great comfort and reassurance on his last night.  Heartfelt thanks!  Appreciation to Pastor Rick Moeller for his love and service, and to all the mourners at Fraser’s farewell.  And the wonderful collection for Mesothelioma UK of £736.75.  To John Ross Funeral Services for their utter professionalism, consideration and dignity, and to Elaine at EJM florist for the beautiful flowers especially the black face sheep.
